Avitrol Whole Corn is treated whole corn that is used to permanently remove a pigeon flock from unwanted areas. It is made with whole corn kernels that are treated with an agent that causes a reaction in birds when eaten that is similar to an epileptic seizure.
Birds that eat the Avitrol bait will be affected causing them to act in a way that alerts the other birds to leave the area. This may include erratic flying, chirping loudly, trembling, dilation of the pupils, and other symptoms indicating a loss of nervous system control.
